What are the fees associated with enrolling a student?
There is no admission fee. Admission is confirmed once full tuition fees are paid upfront by companies or a minimum of three months' fees are paid by families. A 5% discount may be applied for those paying the full year in advance. Reimbursement policies, if necessary, will be discussed with families during the admission process.

How is the canteen organized?
Students are encouraged to bring their own lunch boxes and snacks. In-house canteen is also available at our Host School, with weekly menu for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Parents may order in advance for the day.

Is transport service available?
Transport service can be availed from our Host School, subject to the availability of bus routes to your pick-up and drop location in Chennai. Detailed information about the school bus routes will be provided upon enrollment. Transport fee is exclusive, and is directly paid to the service provider.

What are the school hours?
The school operates on standard attendance hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, in sync with our Indian partner school.

What extracurricular activities are offered, and what are the schedules and costs?
We offer a variety of extracurricular activities, in addition to the after-school activities provided by the Host School. Detailed schedules and costs will be provided during the enrollment process.

What is the academic calendar?
The academic calendar follows the French system and will be shared at the start of the school year.

What are the specifics of the French curriculum and LFIC's approach?
LFIC follows the French curriculum with a strong focus on bilingualism and immersion. We aim to be part of the AEFE network, offering a unique educational experience through school projects and multi-grade classes. Additionally, our students collaborate with our Indian partner school, sharing non-academic subjects and immersion classes, fostering a diverse and enriching learning environment. How is bilingualism implemented at LFIC?
Bilingualism is fostered through immersion programs and a bilingual curriculum to ensure students develop strong language skills in both French and English.

Is LFIC accredited?
LFIC is in due process to get accredited by AEFE, and we offer CNED validation as part of our academic program.

Are there exams during the school year?
Yes, assessments are conducted throughout the year to track student progress. Students also participate in national exams as part of their academic journey.

Is the Baccalaureate diploma recognized?
Yes, the Baccalaureate diploma is widely recognized, ensuring students' qualifications are valued internationally. We also work closely with Campus France to ensure students have seamless transitions to higher education opportunities in France and internationally.
